Introduction
For me, there is no better story than a story that revolves around an anti-hero. This is probably why both the Gods with Fangs series and my second series that is in development, both detail the rise of an anti-hero who verges on becoming a villain. There are at least two general categories that an anti-hero can fall into; either they simply lack the impressive characteristics that would be expected of a hero, or they are so far from the good moral nature of a hero that you are left questioning to the very end what side they are really on. My main characters tend to fall into the second category, as do my favorite characters in other books and movies. Nothing beats a former villain that ends up having to either assist the hero or become a hero themselves.
